MAINTENANCE : Rapid Disaster Recovery

What does the service do? In the event of a disaster (which may include fire, theft, flood or power outage) your server and the Optomate system may not be accessible. Bluewave's Rapid Recovery Service allows you to access a copy of your Optomate system via the internet on Bluewave's Rapid Recovery servers.

What is backed up? The Optomate Database (no images or documents)

When is it backed up? Every night, 7 nights a week

Is it secure? Yes, all databases are compressed, encrypted and password protected using professional software installed on your server.

How do I access my data? Within 60 minutes of contacting Bluewave you can logon using Terminal Services to a temporary server with your version of Optomate running.

What will I need? Access to the Internet and a special RDP icon on your desktop (provided at setup)

Can more than one person/branch access the information? Yes, but additional costs apply.

How much space do I get? 1GB (additional space is available at an additional cost).

What are the limitations? Optomate information can be viewed and edited but no printing, HiCaps, images, or linked documents will be available.

How long can I access this service? Until your server is back up and running (if more than 14 days additional costs apply)
